Girl Bosses Worth Celebrating

Women’s equality day celebrates the day the 19th amendment made it legal for women to vote in 1920. Since then, women have been only achieving more and more! Our very own girl boss is Kara Goldin! She has been the founder and CEO of hint water for the past ten years. Her work with hint has innovated the beverage industry and led the way for healthy alternatives to our sugar dominated food industry.

Government – Sandra Day O’Connor

Sandra Day OconnoSandra was the first woman on the supreme court. She became one of the most powerful women in the US and pioneered the way for other women in government and the public alike.

Sports – Bobbi GibbGibb

Bobbi Gibb showed the world that women can do anything they put their mind to. Nowadays women run marathons all the time, but in 1966 it was unheard of. Gibb was the first woman to complete the Boston Marathon!
